Authorization in derogation for phytosanitary emergency situations against GTD disease for applications on vines pursuant to art. 53, paragraph 1, of Regulation (EC) no. 1107/2009, of the plant protection product MICROSAP® ESCA PLUS reg. n. 18536, containing the active substance copper metal from tribasic sulphate.

GTD disease is a phytopathy caused by a complex of fungi, which attack wine and table vines.
The effects of this disease manifest themselves externally with the typical tiger leaf, while internally the wood turns black due to the drying of the lymphatic vessels, causing the death of the plant.
MICROSAP® ESCA PLUS, is a copper fungicide with preventive action indicated to prevent the entry of the fungi responsible for GTD disease through pruning cuts or wounds and other lesions caused, for example, by hail.

Microsap® Cu Plus is a concentrated suspension formulation based on tribasic copper sulphate and microelements.
It provides very high persistence in case of rain without the need for adhesives and/or adhesion agents to adhere to the leaf surface.
Downy Mildew is a trophic disease caused by parasitic organisms that steal vital resources from the plant, therefore it is a potentially lethal disease.
Our agrochemical, Microsap® Cu Plus, is a phytosanitary product authorized by the Ministry of Health (Reg. N° 17443 of the Ministry of Health dated 09/10/2023) absolutely effective against Downy Mildew.
